What forms of payment do you accept? TOP
Credit cards, Money Orders, Cashiers Checks. International buyers must pay with a credit card.
We use Paypal as our credit card processor. You do NOT need to have a Paypal account to pay with your credit card. Please know that paying via Paypal is completely safe; your payment is encripted and, in fact, your credit card numbers are neverr seen by any seller or merchant. Your financial information stays safe.
We also accept Google Checkout. To use your Google Checkout account for payments: when checking out your shopping cart, select OTHER as your payment method. Then in the area of the form for Messages, type GoogleCheckout. We will then invoice you via Google Checkout. How do I pay with a credit card? TOP
When ordering online, you may pay via Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express or Electonic Check via PayPal. To add items to your shopping cart, just click on the Add to Cart button. When you are ready to check out, click on the View Shopping Cart button.
You may also pay with your credit card via Google Checkout. As you are checking out of your shopping cart, select your payment method as OTHER and indicate in the Messages area of the form that you wish to pay via Google Checkout. You will receive a Google Checkout invoice via email to click and pay using your Google Checkout account.
Note: at present we are unable to process credit card orders by fax or over the telephone. What if I don't want to pay with a credit card? TOP If you prefer to pay with a money order or cashiers check, you may. Add items by clicking the Add to Cart button. When you are ready to check out just click on the View Shopping Cart button and select OTHER as your payment method. You'll be given instructions for mailing your payment. We ask that we receive payments within 7 days of the transaction's close. If you run into a snag or something unexpected has come up, please email and let us know so there are no misunderstandings. Standard shipping for our items is via USPS First Class Mail. Delivery time is usually 5-7 business days. You may wish to purchase the US Shipping Upgrade for Priority Mail delivery. We often give a complimentary shipping upgrade to USPS Priority Mail for large orders or necklaces with fragile or large gemstone components.
Standard shipping for all international packages is via USPS First Class International Mail. Delivery time varies from 10-30 days (and is often much more). We highly recommend you purchase the International Shipping Upgrade for USPS Global Priority Mail which means much faster delivery (usually 5-7 business days) Insurance is not available at this time.
USPS Express Mail is also available on request for an additional fee for USA packages
Standard shipping is FREE. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us.. Do you provide insurance? TOP Insurance is extra and available on request. We will not be responsible for uninsured items after the item leaves our hands. Insurance is not available for international transactions at this time. How often do you ship? TOP Usually daily. We strive to ship within 24-48 hours after receiving payment. What is included in shipping? TOP
Standard shipping includes USPS shipping with delivery confirmation, bubble wrap, tissue paper, package labels, ribbon and a gift box. [note: some ornaments and "other goodies" will not include gift boxes due to size.] We do not provide insurance at this time.
International clients should email with any questions about shipping. Can I get a discount? TOP
Have you come to our web site from one of our ads or a special mailing? Simply email us mentioning the publication where you saw the ad or the title of the mailing and we'll send you the special offer code to use while shopping!
Are you a frequent buyer from For Love of a Dog or one of our sister sites? Please don't hesitate to contact us and request a discount code. (if we've not already offered you one!) Do you do re-sizing and what is your fee? TOP Yes, we do offer re-sizing on many of our jewelry items. Fees vary according the gemstones or findings involved, so it is best to ask. The average fee is $2.00 per inch. Sometimes re-sizing is free! Please email us with your needs. Do you do custom work? TOP Yes. Please email us with your request in as much detail as possible. Do you have a return policy? TOP We love our customers and we want them happy! Here is our Return Policy in full. Please know that we will not issue any refund simply for Buyer's remorse. We do not offer returns on international transactions or custom work. What about my privacy? TOP Your privacy is important to us! If you make a purchase from us, you may receive our irregular e-newsletter regarding new items, sales and special discounts. You may easily unsubscribe at any time. TOP Jewelry is fragile and should be handled with care. Items should be stored in the boxes we provide to protect them from damiage, oxidation and tarnish.
