For Love of a Dog Jewelry offers many dog breeds in our handcrafted dog breed jewelry. This dog necklace features a wonderful running dogi pin that I've used as a pendant. Such a happy little dog, but I just can't decide the breed. Shetland Sheepdog, Border Collie, even an Australian Shepherd. Not to mention so many mutt mixed breed dogs.
At any rate, this running dog pin (brooch) is handmade by a Michigan porcelain ceramic artist. Truly hand sculpted using no moulds, the pin is ceramic porcelain and signed by the artist. I've added a silver converter to use the pin as a pendant.
The necklace is composted of mottled grey Silverleaf Jasper, Black Onyx, and sleek grey Hematite that I've hand wire wrapped with oxidized silver jeweler's wire. You'll notice the sweet little three dimensional dogbone at the end of the necklace.
Such a versatile piece of dog breed jewelry. Wear this working dog necklace as it is, or easily and simply removed the pendant to wear as a pin. In fact, you can even wear other pins you own on this necklace. A perfect gift for anyone who loves a tri color herding dog and one of a kind artisan jewelry.
